Which Body Wraps Really Work?

Which Body Wraps Really Work?

The question about which wrap works is worth a million rupees! But how does one find a body wrap that really works?

The thing about body wraps is that when some are good for the skin and body may have different effects. For a few they might even be harmful as they effect people according to the problems and medications.

When you are going for a body wrap one need’s to make sure that the person is not suffering from problems like claustrophobia, diabetes, blood pressure, heart condition etc. The wraps are not recommended for pregnant women; people on medication are also advised to avoid the wraps as the ingredients may interfere with the medication. Those with sensitive skin are advised not to use wraps with fragrance as they irritate the skin.

Wraps That Work and Wraps That Don’t

1.      Weight Loss:Spas claim that body wraps are a great way to loose weight; but it is not along term remedy. The wraps induce heat in the body which in turn causes the body to sweat. What one looses in reality is the water weight but once the person begins to eat and drink normally the body is back to its original shape. The body wrap does not burn fat or increase the metabolism of the body.

2.      To Relax: The body wrap is a great way to relax.

3.      Reduce Celluloid: The wrap doesn’t suck away the fat from the body.It is just a temporary change in the appearance of the body

4.      Detoxification:The body wrap cannot be accepted as a direct reason for the detoxification of the skin as sweating is the skins natural way to detox and the wrap only intensifies the heat of the body.

5.      Moisturizing:Body wraps are a great way to moisturize the body as the body is free from dead skin cells. The scrubs help the body get rid of them.

The body wrap may not be a method to loose weight or reduce celluloid but it’s a great way to relax and moisturize the body.

All body wraps works, just depends on your body type, which suits you alot.

the body wrap is a “non-woven cloth wrap that has been infused with a powerful, botanically-based formula to deliver maximum tightening, toning, and firming” to any targeted area of your body. Wraps are worn for a minimum of 45 minutes and feel similar to Icy Hot. The user is suppose to lay down during the treatment. Many users wear the wraps overnight to maximize the time the wrap botanicals are touching the skin.
