This place is good for rich tai tai. Expect to pay $369 for a basic facial with some fluffy word or treatment that they throw in.
Hard selling after every other session. It's disgusting and a complete waste of my time. Takes up to 1 hour to convince you and they don't take no for an answer.

I was having a backache and went joyre Toa Payoh outlet to seek their TCM treatment. I had a one hour treatment attended by therapist Lisa. I was very impressed by her skilful technique in TCM treatment. She is very patient and friendly therapist. She is also knowledgeable in TCM treatment using various devices. My backache was completely gone after the one hour treatment. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking this kind or other TCM treatment.

I read some reviews from another site. Seems like we all have the same problems - can't get a booking, especially now that we have paid (pre-covid) for a package. I can't even reserve now for December! I have to call in November for December! Worst system than a Michelin star restaurant. And when I insist that a manager explain to me, how, in this impossible situation, I will ever get an appointment - they did not return my call, although a staff, Liz, agreed to. I will give them 1 more chance. If I don't get a good explanation - except not enough staff or still wait-listed for another 1 / 2 months. I will report them to CASE. And start a legal procedure to get my $$$ refunded.

I will like to make a complain on the following dentist:
Dr Cheung Keat Choi Adrian
DCR No.: 21642I
I have made an appointment on 2nd October 2020, 12pm at NTUC Denticare Heartbeat@Bedok to do normal dental cleaning and polishing.
However, upon doing so, I was told to take X-ray and given 20mins of talking to convince me to see a "recommended" specialist.
Initially, I am open to listening and consideration. However, as Dr Cheung proceed on, he sounded more like a sales talk. He even showed me pictures of the specialist and telling me she is young and pretty.(In my mind, I thinking... It is unethical and I don't need to know.) Then he went on compare the price and showing me that if I don't do it now, it will be too late. And I will not be able to afford doing the "repair" later... (In my mind, he sounded more and more like sales talking.)
I interrupted him and explained that, I will consider on the specialist but now just wanted only a normal "cleaning and polishing". To my surprise, I was told that, he wouldn't do any cleaning and asked if I am keen to make an appointment for the specialist. He literally tells me that it's a waste of time cleaning and I should seek specialist help, which I declined and left.
Before me, I also heard other clients being referred to see specialist. (And estimated cost $1.5k-$2k as told.)I can't help but to ponder, why am I being pressured to see a specialist? Can't I just clean my teeth first, and decide on the specialist care later, which was my intention? If I had knew that, I wouldn't have wasted my time there. To think that NTUC's brand name can be trusted, now I think twice...
I hope the dental council can investigate if this is the ethical standard that our doctor should protrude. I will also be making a formal complain to MOH, Singapore Dental Council and CASE.
